    Boys' Brigade (boys 1st-5th grade):
    Guys meet in the gym! Grow your faith in Jesus Christ through active games, discipleship, and memorizing Scripture together.

    Beginning Wednesday, September 10, the Men's Bible Study will dive into the Book of James. We combine table discussion and expository teaching to deepen our understanding of Scripture and our relationship with God. Join us for our weekly studies from 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm in the Commons (West side). Registration is required and space is limited. Placement is a first come first served basis.

    Fall Retreat September 19-21 - Step away for a weekend with like-minded young adults to deepen your faith, form meaningful relationships, and pursue a closer relationship with the Lord. We will spend our time digging into the Word of God and being in community as a 20s ministry. Details- Leave for retreat late afternoon on September 19th and return late afternoon on September 21st.     The annual Run for the STARS 5K race/walk is a time when our community comes together to celebrate the STARS, affirm their value and remind them that they belong. Invite your friends and family to join you as we run to raise funds to give STARS the opportunity to attend Christian camps with their families, take part in the STARS fall retreat and receive job coaching through STARS Family Services as they work in resale shops.

    College Church's Legal Clinic will be held every month on the third Saturday for people to meet with an attorney for legal support. For only $30, book a 45-minute appointment with an attorney to discuss your legal situation, explore options, and decide on a plan. Our center volunteers are present to welcome, support and encourage clients with the knowledge that God cares for them, and they aren't alone.     Students in 6th through 12th grade! Do you sing or play an instrument at school? Would you like to use your gifts here at church to lead the congregation in worship? Join other students once a semester in worship leadership through our Glorify! ensembles (choir, orchestra, worship team). The College Church Worship & Music team helps to prepare these groups with a few Sunday afternoon rehearsals ahead of our student-led Sundays.     We kick off our season on Sept 7. We encourage you to register your child as soon as possible. All children, grades 1-6*, are invited to join Children's Choirs – the more, the merrier! Song is used to teach important academic information, such as the ABCs and the Preamble to the Constitution. What better way to impress God’s Word deep into our children’s hearts than through songs and hymns each week. In addition, the choirs participate in some worship services, a Christmas program, and a spring concert or musical.

    Get to know some new women at church or deepen existing relationships as we walk the Danada Forest Preserve together. Enjoy the fall colors and an opportunity for fellowship in a smaller group.     From Friday afternoon at 5:00 until Sunday at noon, middle schoolers and their leaders will participate in a fun-filled, spiritually challenging experience designed just for them. After a pizza dinner at church, buses will transport the campers to Dickson Valley Camp in Newark, IL. Cozy cabins and delicious healthy meals are provided by the camp, and Bible study and discussion are scheduled with an enthusiastic guest teacher. Buses return the campers to the church parking lot.     If you are a 4th or 5th grader in Kids' Harbor and want to learn more about how to follow Jesus and grow as a Christian, you can sign up to join a 4-week class one afternoon a week. This will be a small group of kids your age with a few of the KH staff, having fun doing projects and studying our Bibles together so we can grow. Topics include “What is a Christian?”, “How does a Christian grow at home?”, “How does a Christian grow at church?”, and “How does a Christian help others grow?” Class size is limited. Both sessions are the same, so please only sign up for one session and commit to attending all four weeks.

    The College Church Youth Basketball Program, in partnership with FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), is a recreation-level league for boys and girls in grades 1–4. Players will learn and practice the fundamentals of basketball while competing in 8 games. It’s an ideal program for kids and parents who want skill development and competition in a healthy, encouraging environment—without the demands of a travel schedule.
